Dilhan C. Fernando will deliver the Plenary Address at the Association for Tropical Biology and Conservation - Asia Pacific Chapter (ATBC-APC) to be held in Sri Lanka from the 10th to 13th September 2019.
He is the CEO of Dilmah Tea, and is passionate about conservation, sustainability and environmental education. He currently chairs Biodiversity Sri Lanka and the United Nations Global Compact in Sri Lanka, a corporate sustainability initiative by the UN.
The Association for Tropical Biology and Conservation - Asia Pacific Chapter (ATBC-APC), is a platform to bring together researchers, conservation practitioners and business professionals to address critical conservation issues facing the Asia-Pacific region, through scientific discourse.
The theme for ATBC-APC 2019, “Bridging the Elements of Biodiversity Conservation: Save, Study, Use” is a timely reminder of the critical roles of both conservationists and resource users.
