A Koraha is a utensil used in the kitchen for cleaning purpose. Koraha is a type of a basin with a small supporting frame at the base to stand and is semi-circular in shape. This is larger than other utensils used in the kitchen in the preparation of food. Rice and other grains are strained using a Nambiliya to a Koraha. Vegetables, yams and fruits are also washed in a Koraha. It is made of clay or Aluminium and is a larger form of a Madakkuwa (Mati Koppaya).
